Some of the services provided: *Information and assistance relevant to Seniors; Health Insurance; Emergency Alert Response System; Elder Abuse Education; Family Caregiver Support Programs; Senior Employment Training; Alzheimer's Day Care Resource Centers; Adult Day Programs, and so much more!
MISSON STATEMENT OF THE CITY OF LOS ANGELES DEPARTMENT OF AGING:
To improve the quality of life, independence, health and dignity of the city's older population by managing community based Senior programs that are comprehensive, coordinated, and accessible; and to advocate for the needs of Senior Citizens.
