              CITY OF LOS ANGELES DEPARTMENT OF AGING

The City of Los Angeles Department of Aging offers programs and services to Seniors. 

They offer 16 multipurpose centers throughout the City of Los Angeles, CA.

Some of the services provided:  *Information and assistance relevant to Seniors; Health Insurance; Emergency Alert Response System; Elder Abuse Education; Family Caregiver Support Programs; Senior Employment Training; Alzheimer's Day Care Resource Centers; Adult Day Programs, and so much more!

MISSON STATEMENT OF THE CITY OF LOS ANGELES DEPARTMENT OF AGING:

To improve the quality of life, independence, health and dignity of the city's older population by
managing community based Senior programs that are comprehensive, coordinated, and accessible; and to advocate for the needs of Senior Citizens.

   LABOA provides support groups for caregivers throughout the City of Los Angeles.  These support Groups meet weekly.
